Initially the main task is to migrate websites to the in-house Lamp solution stack which are currently maintained by an external organisation using a non-Lamp platform. Experience 2 years commercial programming experience at least 1 year of which should be in a Lamp environment with efficient use of Html Css design based on W3C Web standards and sufficient understanding of content management systems. Applicant Profile The applicant s experience and personal qualities must demonstrate that they Are adept at developing interactive and dynamically generated websites using techniques and tools such as Mvc templating Css Content Management Systems etc. Have a good eye Although this is a technical role the candidate must be able to design visually pleasing websites (including both page layout and graphics Are highly motivated and pragmatic focused on delivering high quality appropriate solutions to agreed timescales. Have good communication skills and can work well with both technical and non-technical colleagues to understand business requirements and translate them into user friendly robust web-based solutions.
