Fexon Technology Ltd: From October to December 07, Global chip plant utilization rate increase to 90 percent

Fexon Technology Ltd says: Last year in October to December global semiconductor factory utilization rate was 90.4%, a four industry groups this week revised its earlier this week announced 92% of the statistical results. The industrial group statistics include Intel Corp., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Texas Instruments 40 chip maker.

Semiconductor International Capacity Statistics Association (SICAS): more before the first quarter of the utilization rate of 89.9%, a small growth.

Utilization rate of more than 90 percent will greatly stimulate the chip maker to build new production lines and factories. SICAS pointed out that in the last year in October to December period, the average weekly output of integrated circuits is 2.12 million silicon wafers, rather than the previously reported 3.15 million silicon wafer. Last year, in July and September to the productive capacity of 2.09 million a week before the announcement is 3110000.

Wafer plants started to intensify, reflecting the strong demand for the chip market, the weekly market demand for the first quarter was about 1.91 million, compared with the previous quarter of 1.88 million. The group had previously said, the actual production from the previous quarter's 2.84 million increased to 2.9 million.
