Location: Atlanta, GA Job Description: Yoh Engineering is seeking a 3G Network Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities: Must possess expert knowledge of 3G technical requirements for re-home supported activities. 3G support includes, but is not limited to: RAN support for Ericsson/Lucent, includes the ability to write and implement scripts in support of Node B/RBS definition and create removal scripts to maintain RNC integrity. The ability to write scripts and augment existing databases in support of full RNC re- home or installation of new RNC. The ability to write scripts in support of RXI changes or additions. MSC support for Nortel, includes the ability to write and implement scripts that will define the Node B/RBS on target MSC and create removal scripts in support of MSC integrity. The ability to write scripts and augment databases in support of RNC and RXI definition within the MSC. Job Requirements: 5+ years of prior switch translations experience. Must have working knowledge of Cell Site translations for Ericsson, Siemens, Nokia or Nortel MSC. Proven ability to effectively communicate and resolve technical issues verbally and in writing, strong project management and leadership skills. Knowledge of GSM and UMTS technology.
